Is anyone running a 1320Electronics ALDL adapter on their hot air with the original ecm (1226459)?

I'd like to hear some real experiences using that and ALDL Droid on our cars of anyone has it.

I have it but as you can see from my other thread I haven't really utilized it yet. It doesn't have as much live data as the 86-87 produce but it is a faster feed. It's got all the important stuff like blm, knock count, tps, iac, tcc, rpm, and maf. I'm excited to get it going and John over at 1320 is great to deal with. There are more readouts availible when in diagnostic mode( a and b jumpered) but he said it raises your idle and is more for troubleshooting rather than on fly info. I hope I didn't twist his words.

At the end of the day if you are already running a Droid it's about as affordable as a scan tool gets.

I want to get an 86/87 ecm, TT5.7, scan master and powerlogger. However that's a huge expendature for a stock HA car with plenty of other things that need replacement.

This bluetooth adapter may work for me for the short term. I can still use it even when I upgrade to the newer ecm. Thanks Black Knight!
