I'm fairly sure the car has a 1" drop in the front and 7/8" in back - Hotchkiss replacement springs. The wheels I am hoping to use is an old set of 15" Vectors I have. The fronts are 15x7 and the rears are 15x8 - both 3 5/8" BS.

I am leaning toward 255/60 & 235/60 but am looking for a calculator I saw on the board to see if those will change ride height. It figures I can't find the c alculator.

There is an EBAY $100 set (of four) rebate for Discount Tires at the moment.

I just use the following for calculating tire height. eg P25560R15 would be 255mm/25.4 convert to inches x2(.6) +15 (WHEEL DIAMETER) =27 INCHES

235/245=9.25X2(.6)=11.1+15=26.1 the .6 is sidewall ratio of width and 2 (one for top and one for bottom) plus wheel diameter the 235 60 R15 is very close to original stock 21565r15 215/25.4=8.46x2(.65)=11+15=26 inches

Anybody have any opinions on 235/60 or 215/65 fronts and 275/50 rear - that combo will not change rake or ride height much. Do you think the 275/50 's fit without rubbing?

I've run all. The 275s MT Drag radials on the rear are tight and I have them on 8.5 in aftermarket rims with 3 3/8 in backspacing I think (Weld wheels). Axle factory - not centered but don't have any rubbing but have the variable rate springs now. The 255 60s on 8 inc 4 inch back spacing rubbed one side and were a little taller. My opinion is 215 or 235 really didn't make as much difference as rubber on road some tires have more voids for rain and quality of rubber is the bigger factor IMO.
