16"drag radials

Can anyone give me advice on the best 16" drag radials. My rear tire size is currently 255/50/16.

That is the only size available. Get the MTs.

MT's work great. Got 'em on my T. Best 60' of 1.69 so far with no suspension mods.

MT radials is the way to go , unless you do a lot of driving because they do wear
i have nearly 100passes on the 87 and they are just past the wear tabs
the 86 has about 50 passes and they look like slicks but still stick great

1.5Xs on Tbrake 8# launches with only HR bar and boxed lowers
1.6x lows on footbrake 5# launch with stock bars

dont try to leave with over 10 lbs and they just plain stick

times in sig are on the 255/50-16 on gta rims

had my doubts on if the low 25 3/4 hieght (now 25 1/4 worn) was hurting my times so i tried with 23# in the tires to try to get a little more height and picked up 2-3 mph on both cars and made a 103.00 1/8 , 127.05 1/4 pass on them today
they ride excellent on the street , good as any performance radial but with excellent dry traction

would be nice if they made a 27" (26 3/4 ) version for the 16 rim

Apparantly M&H Racemster is making their own set of DR's in somewhat oddball sizes. They show a 275/55/16 on their website which is just about a 28" tall radial for 16".

Anyone have any track tested results with the M&H tires, I'm looking for a 28" tall tire for a 16" rim before I go buy a new set of rims and tires. If I cannot find one, I'll be looking to a set of Kirban 16" mesh wheels for a set of 15" telestars or something like that. Help or imput would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Mike.

Are you looking for a set of rear telstars? I have a set of 15x8s let me know if you are interested. I can take plenty of pictures, give me a email.

Quick in KC, I would be interested in a full set of telestars, only if I can't find a 28 inch tall tire for the 16 inch wheels which is why the M&H's peaked my interest. I have a set of kirban mesh wheels on the car and like the look, but I need more tire with the combo that is being built, so just trying to get my ducks in a row so to speak. What are you looking to get for the two wheels shipped to 07675?
