Don't know about the g body, but spacers will be needed on the third gen f body platform. The 10 bolt rears are a little wider than the older 10 bolts and 9 bolts.

They will fit with spacers. 17x11 will fit in the rear also. Andris has done this to his IROC.

are two inch adapters safe?i mean going fast, hitting hard corners,burnouts,its gotta withstand all that.
wonder if anyone or know anyone using adapters,
what was thier feedback on the adapters.

Well Andris' car, the one on the site and owner of the business, road races that car as well as auto-x and drag race. Looking at it when he was changing his brakes, it looked like it would work well.

He's putting out a lot of torque with the twin turboed small block. I think he's running a 9" now that is the 4th gen width so he doesn't need them anymore. 10 bolt couldn't take the power.
