1986 Silver Buick Regal T-Type (Turbo-T, Grand National)- ROLLER great suspension upgrades_$16.5 OBO $11k
**”READ ENTIRE POST BEFORE ASKING QUESTIONS”
I bought the car to transplant the engine and all the goodies into one of my cars but the engine was damaged (bent rods and cracked block). Now I am looking to sell the car as a “ROLLER”!
NO MOTOR & NO TRANSMISSION
Title is Branded - CONNECTICUT_ “EXCEEDS MECHANICAL LIMITS”
1986 Buick Regal T-Type (Turbo 3.8 liter V6 car)- 1 of 1,921 with red cloth interior. The odometer is @28k miles (rolled over 128k). Carfax report shows collision damage in 1986 and was declared a “Total Loss” and the CT Title Issued currently reads as “Exceeds Mechanical Limits”.
Car would be a nice street hot rod, not a show car but has some good quality suspension parts. The car does look good, but it does need some body work. It has rust bubbles that are visible on both sides of the roof just above the windows and left door. Car was painted at some point but has some scratches on the body here and there and has some paint chips.
High end quality suspension & brakes with less than 2,500 miles (list included). The rear frame/chassis has been notched for bigger tires and easily fits the 15″ Weld Rodlite wheels with 275/60/15 Mickey Thompson ET Street Pro radials, Roll Cage with swing-out bar on d/s, RJS safety race belt harness on d/s, front one piece lip spoiler, tinted windows, battery relocated to the trunk with an external battery kill switch, line lock, adjustable brake proportional valve, updated brake booster, fiberglass front & rear bumpers with aluminum bumper struts, high volume (450lph) in-tank fuel pump in a spectra fuel tank, fuel pump hot wire kit and -8AN fuel line, F-body radiator, AutoMeter gauges (boost, oil and temp) and a CD stereo head unit. Also has upgraded BAER front brakes, rotors, spindles, complete Spohn Suspension (front & rear), QA1 Adj. Shocks, 8.5” Grand National rear differential with Detroit locker and 31 spline axles and a B&M Shifter. I’m sure I'm missing a few things. This car has a great foundation for a street strip hot rod. The cage and notched rear alone would cost you $4-5k and nearly another $10k in brakes, suspension & rear.
I have plenty of pics! I usually respond quickly to questions. I don’t mind answering questions, but I will not answer automated questions, lowballers will be deleted! DO NOT WASTE MY TIME!! Don't contact me If you need permission to buy. I Prefer local pickup but can help with car transport or would be willing to meet within a reasonable distance. I Might be able to deliver along the east coast, NY to FL (for a fee$$). Located in Oceanside (Long Island), NY 11572
