posting this for a family member.
Due to financial and lack of funds , a family member is selling his 1987 Buick grand national.
Overall this car is 7 out of 10 condition .. It has some minor cosmetics and some minor TLC that will be needed to be done . This car does have some potential once the issues are corrected.
The good :
Rebuilt 109 shortblock that has never been fired since installed.
Fresh Machined heads
New re upholstered front and rear seats
New carpet
New headliner
Boyd coddington wheels -17x9 all around
Orange strip 3200 stall converter
Oil, boost , water temp auto Mayer gauges
The bad :
Need turbocharger
Needs tuning once turbo is installed (new plugs, cam adjustment
Minor Rust bubbling by the center trunk
Minor rust bubbling by upper quarter panels on driver side.
Minor rust bubbling by the a pilar driver side
Needs new tired all around
The car was originally purchased from Indiana and made it down to Texas in 2009. It has a clear Texas title with a restired mileage of 158,000.
The car was painted in 2011 but it could have been a better job. Maybe a cut and buff or perhaps a new paint job
He is asking 6500 as is or OBO.
