Basic Info

1987 Buick Regal Turbo with Y56 “T” Package. This car has been in our family since 1995, I think my dad was the second owner and I am the third. Car has 62,8xx original miles. We have put about 5k on it since 1995. Looks fabulous and is wicked fast. Car has been in a heated and cooled garage for the last 30 years. Very solid car, absolutely no rust. Was repainted by previous owner in the early 90’s due to hail damage. Paint job wasn’t perfect when it was done (about an 8/10) but has held up very well. Interior is in fantastic shape.

Full option code list is shown in the pictures, but does include: reclining buckets, bright rocker panel and bodyside moldings, delay wiper, rear window defog, AC, full length console, cruise and tilt.

Good Stuff

Champion iron heads, RJC bulletproof head gaskets, ARP head studs, Works 6262 .63 AR turbo, PTE Turbo Saver, DW300 fuel pump, Bosch EV14 88lb injectors, Razor alky with new pump, Racetronix Teflon lined, stainless braid, vinyl coated fuel and vacuum lines with AN fittings, RJC 315 front mount intercooler, Champion intake, RJC powerplate, Accufab 70mm throttle body, Champion fuel rails, TA Performance timing cover & high volume oil pump, Dusty Bradford spec’d PTC 9.5” NL converter, Comp 216/220 roller cam, TurboTweak ecu-GN engine management system, Scanmaster, RJC 3” stainless downpipe, Pypes stainless dual exhaust, hydroboost brake conversion, Umi Performance upper and lower A arms, boxed lower control arms, Detroit Speed rear sway bar, line lock, Spoolfool font and rear bumper fillers. Brand new Mickey Thompson Sportsman 275/60, 245/60-15 tires. Also have decent 295/55-15 MT ET Street Radials on matching 8.5” rims. Less than 200 miles on heads, intake, IC, injectors, turbo and all new front suspension. Transmission has a shift kit, shifts hard and clean.

Not So Good Stuff

The repaint does have a couple of noticeable flaws, biggest being about a 3” swirl in the trunk lid. The rear wheel trim is a little bent up from rolling the fender lips. The hoodliner is not in the best shape – I left it laying face up for a year or more while working on the car. All air conditioning parts are on the car, but we have not used AC in 20 years. Power antenna does not work.

I’ve taken this car to the track four times, primarily for test and tune, expect for two head to head races at Ford vs Buick. Has not been to the track since I installed heads, injectors, ecm, turbo and IC.

The “Real” Stuff

Price is $29,500. I have almost all the original parts, except for the original turbo. Clean and clear title. Would consider partial trade of ~50hp diesel tractor with loader. Central Kanas, right off I-70; delivery available. Call or txt Ryan 785 820 1931

"Champion intake, RJC powerplate, Accufab 70mm throttle body, Champion fuel rails, TA Performance timing cover & high volume oil pump, Dusty Bradford spec’d PTC 9.5” NL converter, Comp 216/220 roller cam, TurboTweak ecu-GN engine management system,"
Considering the work to remove all the "goodies", anyone betting it's now got a horseshit engine in it?
Sounds like something that everyone's fav shop in Shitcago would do....
Where is it listed now?
Anyone seeing a parts ad for those pieces?

Such a nice build

WOW!! This post still getting a lot of attention? Car is Not in Chicago but on Long Island, NY. Haven't had the time to post on here, but thanks for posting it for me, Big H. Yes, the car is up for sale and who cares what I do with MY CAR! Everyone had the opportunity to buy this car and do as they pleased, as I have done. And yes, the parts may be for sale with a load of other parts and cars, because I can do what I want😋. Anyone who looked at and read my ad knows I put in a lot of time and money into the car. Some of you are smart or experienced enough to know what it takes to get the car to where it is now and also to where the previous owner had it. Same time & effort but different goals. Unfortunately, my plans have changed so I put the car up for sale after investing a decent amount of coin. SMH...as if I just took everything off and added $10k to the price. If I were looking for a stock car, this would be on top of my list. I did a mini-rebuild from top to bottom, not for resale, not because it needed it, but because that's the way I wanted it, PERIOD! So Chuck, when you say "anyone betting it's now got a horseshit engine in it?"! I find that very offensive without even knowing to whom or where it went, read my ad and then comment on the car. I've been in the game for a long time, I've had my GN for over 30+ years and I know these cars pretty well. This is my 9th Turbo Regal and it won't be my last. Very few people know me on here because I don't live on this board, or any platform for that matter.

I just got in the market a month too late, or else I would’ve came up on this great deal and it wouldn’t have been turned around in less than 6 months with all the parts gone, it would’ve been a keeper. Good luck with sale bro.

Exactly what I saw as a possibility, given the car was in Shitcago......
I sincerely apologize if you were butthurt.
