Ok so this is a friends car and trying to get it started again, this car only has 45k original miles but has been sitting for the past year and something built a nest in the bay. I know the batterys dead but even with a jump it wont turn over, theres this one orange or red cable off of the positive terminal thats not connected, where should this go to ??? here some pics, any help would be great.....theres a plug by pass shock tower that has an orange or same color as this cable thats cut as well,, does it go there??

There is also a yellow wire loose that goes into the car by ecu, the orange/red one is off of the positive terminal and the yellow is pretty long that goes inside, heres a pic.

That orange wire off the battery goes to the one that is cut. Its the power to the ecm, thats most likely why it wont start. To confirm, just connect a jumper wire from the battery to the cut one and see if she fires. I disconnect this wire after I do an oil change and crank it a few times to prime the system without starting the engine-

yea, it was that wire, started right up. now i gotta get the master cylinder rebuilt, things got no brakes!!!

That's great. Glade to hear it
Just convert the brakes to vacuum.
Cheeper master & booster new for 140 bucks. Just need a peddle. Scrap yards there 10 bucks.
