The turbo makes NO BOOST. Has a vary bad grinding noise coming from it when you accelerate. Other than that, car runs pretty good.

Chris, received the pictures. Do you have some of the engine bay and/or underneath the car??

You say the turbo grinds, no problem changing the turbo, I have a TA49 on the shelf but was wondering is this putting metal shavings in the oil????

I am interested. Is your price firm?

How's body-dents, rust, solid, complete? Can it make a Gilligan (three hour tour) to San Antonio? Send pics to: mclaigan@aol.com.

I will send pics to all those who asked for them from home (have dial up at work :frown: )

To answer the rest of your questions. . .

Hey TURBOTWIN2 The Body is in fair shape. Its complete except for bumber fillers & the pass side cornering light. Both doors have several minor door dings. Car has a key scratch on rear pass qtr panel. No rust as far as I can tell. But I haven't gone over it with a fine tooth comb. I feel the car would make it to San Antiono as long as you put a new turbo on it. ( i wouldn't go on a road trip like it is)

Hey fast86gn As far as turbo grinding, if any metal has gone anywhere it would be aluminum from the compressor housing going into the intercooler. Price is pretty firm for now. This car is well worth the $4200

I'll get ya'll pics tonight. :)

I'm pretty sure there is no metal in the engine. I can cut open the oil filter to verify the it is clean. The grinding noise is from the compressor wheel hitting the compressor housing. Any metal would be in the intercooler, Not the oil. I'll cut open the filter & let ya'll know.
