Some people cringe at the thought of a salvage title, but as long as there isn't any actual frame damage, I'd take the risk for 8k. Good luck

I'd do it. Sounds like a fair deal. Salvage titles on older cars are common because the values insurance companies place on them. I'd make an offer contingent on an allignment/frame shop being able to check it at your expense. But even if its off a frame shop can fix it for a few hundred with the body on the car

thats not bad.. but no ac so if you want that figure the cost of that also itll be hard to resell. you never know what happens or you may ge tired of it but it will be hard to shake for same $. if you have 8gs to spend id say you can find one close condition that has a clean title. me personally i dont like to buy cars in accidents bc you dont know how bad the damage was. wait some time seasons almost over and you may get a better deal

Is it a true GN? Only reason I ask is blower motor looks different and heater lines are going in in a different place.

But depends on what you want to do with the car, if you plan to keep it a while then rebuilt title doesn't matter. I wouldn't be afraid of a car with a rebuilt title as long as it was fixed right. But if you plan to buy it and sell soon after I'd look for another one. Doesn't look like too bad of a deal with everything it has.

all GN's came from the factory with AC- but that could have been changed out... they also come with the wonderfully awesome Powermaster brake booster- but that also could have been changed out..

that's probably a decent deal if it's an actual GN... on the high side if its just a Regal with a GN engine thrown in it and a coat of black paint..

Its a real gn it was orignal a/c car but the guy riped everything out and put a malibu heater in it he also took out the powermaster brake thing and put a regular brake booster!!

I love it
Check it for
1- T-Top leaks (most likely)
2- Rusted door hinge area
3- Rusted floor boards
4- Rusted bottom of the doors
5- Mechanical issues.
6-trade me them wheels for my original GN wheels

The only thing it has its tgat when i drive it and come to a ruff stop it stalls floor board are amazing no tust at the bottom of the doors frame is mint!

But i wonder what the problem of stalling is?

It can be anything. A GN that has been wrecked? So, it looks good to me. It has FAST with some mods? looks pretty clean to me, I'd do it. Check all of the problem areas first as stated above.

Hell, you could buy that car and part it out for a good price as well. I'd personally buy it though if you planned on keeping it(like previously mentioned). Car looks damn good man

Thanks guys i might just pick it up the guy showed me some time slips and its 12.02 at 117 with 17 pounds of boost does that sound good or its to sliw for the set up?

At 17lbs of boost 12.00's is nothing to sneeze at. Easily that car will go into the 11's based on the mods.

Thats good to know he told that was with street tires and no launch!
