This car is a machine that raced three times in the Indianapolis 500. It is one of only six that were specially built for the Indianapolis Speedway in 1992. It is now one of two remaining qualified by Scott Brayton in seventh position at Indianapolis in 1992 with an average speed of 226.142 mph. Sephan Gregoire passed his rookie test in this Lola in 1993 and qualified with an average speed of 220.851 mph. In 1996, Paul Durant qualified the machine again in 24th at the Indy Racing League's inaugural race with an average speed of 225.404 mph.
