i have been upping the boost since my alky install. i noticed at 23# i would get a 1-2 flare during my 1st wot pass from a dig. if i eased into it the 1st time i wouldn't get the flare. also after the 1st wot pass everything seemed to be fine.
another issue that i found today is with 25#. now i am getting a 2-3 flare. i think 23# might be it for this trans.
i don't know the history of the trans. all i can tell you is it has a stock converter and slams 2nd and 3rd real hard. moderate throttle results in chirps wot results in about 20 ft of double black lines on the pavement at 1-2 shift.
