2 -3800 supercharged motors and 1996 camaro 3.8 drivetrain

went to lkq salvage yard today in orlando,fl on east colonial dr next to greenway ford and found 2- 3800 supercharged engines 1 1996 camaro 3.8 drivetrain(this is the 6bolt main block),a couple of 3.4 sfi v6's, 3- 3.1 v6's that i use the roller lifters for gn motor,and about 15- 3800 fwd drive cars and some chevy s-10's...I haven't been out there in a while and was suprised to see so many fwd v6 cars...although I didn't find any 109na blocks,it was still a good find for some one who is in the market for fwd parts or the 3.8 supercharged motors and the 1996 3.8 v6 6bolt main engine ..They were asking $550.00 for the 1996 camaro 3.8 engine and tranny combo..

whether it's a 3800 from a front drive or from an fbody the block is the same with the cross bolted mains. By changing the accessories, intake/exhaust and the oil pump adapter on the oil pump you can use a fwd 3800 in the Camaro and vice versa. Of course That's the L36 I'm talking about. I have an L67 in my rear drive Shelby charger with the camaro motor mounts, belt drive(with a little modification to move the position of the ps pump to clear the idler pulley bracket for the supercharger belt.
