I finally had seen a Turbo Regal here, was a Metallic Blue 86 T-Type, looked beaten down and abandoned.... anyway saw the car on the Trippler Army medical center parking. I've been here like 2 months and was beginning to believe I would not see another TR until I returned back home to N. Cacalac... If there are any TR guys in Hawaii, chime in and maybe we can link up

Ah.... ya seen one ya seen em all. How's hawaii treating you Ben? Gotta call ya sometime.

Hey Ben,

If you go to Schofield Barracks, see if there are still quarters at 3436A Thompson Circle. That is where I lived 1970-1972. :)

My car ran a best of 6.80 @ 101.6 about a month ago.

Few thoughts....

My personal test car 1987 Grand National went to Hawaii several years ago and I am sure its still there.

We do have at least 3 customers there with cars.

My GN had one of the very early M & A casting aluminum heads on it and the steel bumpers are smooth my so made the molds from those bumpers to make the glass ones we sell today.

The hood has TA vents in it.

GNX style dash.

About Scofield Barracks my father in law was stationed there when it was bombed that fateful Dec 7th morning...and I have a piece of one of the Japanese planes from that fateful day in History.

Yes, it is a Molly signed car from his first visit to our reunion events around 1990-91
I know it was repainted in Hawaii....

I will keep in touch Dave, the time difference here is brutal for talking to the east coast... especially when you work in a secure facility during the day with out access to your cell.

It's funny I actually seen a GN today at the bank, it was a younger looking guy driving it was pulled into the Bank of Hawaii in Waipahu. The car looked to be missing the airdam, besides that looked to be in good shape.
