thats right i did it...my boost gauge maxed out today on 93 octane...trust me it was an accident..i luckily caught it before it did any damage! i was cleaning up the engine bay today and noticed two wires not connected so i plugged them in..took the car out for a drive i hit boost and let off to see if the SES light was going to come on (ses light usually comes on after any boost) so i punched it and it immediatley went past 20# on my boost guage! that is hopefully the extent of my excitment for the day..

:D well from the lil i did feel the 20# it makes me want alky haha..this winter i think i will have to buy the kit!

Actually, with the right state of tune, and moderate timing (18°) it's pretty easy to run 20# of boost on 93. I run it on both my GN's. No knock, no alky.

just curious what kind of times are you guys running with 20-25# boost

this one is stock engine with pt-61, smc alky and front mount
11.50 on 93 pump gas

Well, I'm not running 11's yet but with stock heads and intake and the mods in my sig on 93 Octane with PAC, I got a 12.6@108MPH on about 22PSI. I should do a little better next time with a little more boost and hooking up better.

Well with the following mods located in the siggy and completely untouched stock suspension and internals I ran a 12.09 at 112.70 at 25#'s that is with tire spin. So she should easily go 11.80-11.60's all with alky.

new favorite picture of the car

Just had mine out a few weeks back, and in pure street trim (real street tires ((Firestone Firehawks)), not sticky DOT's), it ran a 8.02@86 at our local 1/8.

93 octane, 20# of boost.
