Anyone used one of these cams, I can get one for free with 2000 miles on it because someone went bigger. Lee if you see this post what do you think??.

I've run that cam and I loved it. I only went bigger due to a rebuild and decided to try something else while I was in there. Some say it's noisy but it was quiet in my car. I couldn't tell a difference in power between that and the 210-205 that went in next. I would get it.

If you can get it for free, and decide not to use it. I will buy it from you. Let me know!

P.S. hey cool 84, how much power improvement did you see??

I know the 200-200 was the GSCA "club cam" a while back. I'm pretty sure it was the Lunati one but I think there's one other brand out there. I wish I had timeslips to show the improvement but I mostly streetrace. I already had ported heads so the cam made a difference I could feel. What I liked was there was no tradeoff. The car made just as much or more power at low rpms as the stock cam and pulled a lot stronger in the midrange. It suppposedly has a high ramp speed for a flat tappet cam and that's why I think some people had noise problems. I had my lifter preload at .015 and it was quiet. Keep in mind my first mod was an intercooler and the IC cars seem to like the smaller cams while the true hotairs like bigger cams. Everyone loves the 204-214 but in my car it was a total pig.

You might want to post this in the general tech area because it was a very popular cam a while back, lots of people have used it.

Sorry I got in late in the post.

I have it currently in my motor - but I have only used it one season and that was for about 200 miles or so.

Doesn't seem noisy at all in my car. Makes great power and probably (judging from the post Cool 84 left) will work better, complimenting my ported haeds and intake.

I am just getting it back together - awaitng a Thrasher chip and i'll be running. Let you know how it works out - watch for my post.
