2001 buick regal LS installing a turbo

Hello I am Considering installing my a turbo charger to it, however I have about 180,000 miles on it and I have been told that would not work at all. Just ruin my engine is this true? And what should I do?

wouldn't it be a lot easier to just put the supercharger stuff off a GS on it? The GS's run like snot. my daily driver has 267K on it.

Check out www.regalgs.org There are a lot of these cars with turbo set ups and that mileage. The 3800 is a tough little engine and can take a lot of abuse. If there is a weak link on the 97-03 LS/GS it is the trans. I know i have a broken a few. My GS is still supercharged and runs low 12's.
