I need a speedometer insert with the gear for a 1984 2004r bq tranny how many teeth are these speedo gears? Does anyone have one for sale that will fit may aplication.

Stock would be 29tooth gear. If you change rear gears or tire diameter you may need a different size.

is there a trick to removing the spedo gear ? is it like a t-350? mine mite just be stuck.

Probably is corroded in. If you been around much road salt that's all it takes. The dissimilar metals will corrode anyway, aluminum housing & steel speedo bullet. Keep spraying it with some type of penetrant and working it back & forth.

No, the 2004R's Speedo bullet/insert is different.
