87 grand nash trans gets weak 1-2 shift at higher rpm.Transgo kit installed inside,any thoughts

Could be the pump slide spring.

It's possible.
Could you test the pressure & see if it's dropping @ higher rpm?

I dont have a pressure gauge right now,but can u tel me the factors involed if pressure is lower or higher at high rpm thanks
