exceptionally large hands tend to worry me. If they are larger than mine, I'm out. Plus it makes me feel "small" , it's all about perception I guess.

OP, care to expound on your question?

The BQ as used in the 84-85 had the smaller "692" servo(Same as the mcss n 442 and some other th200c) while the brf in the 86-87 had the "larger "694" though this can be remedied through the aftermarket with even larger servos.

According to Mike Kurtz and I'm sure others, the tv valve as well as some of the other valves have different diameters as well as different spring tensions.

Are you starting with the bq? Some other unit?

Hard stator support, hard sun shell, hard pump rings should be installed during an overhaul. Larger boost valves, valve body mods and maybe some governor mods might be included.

What are you working with? What are your goals?

So are you telling me that "KTF" that came out of that "Can't lose"; super deal, 85 WH1 parts car I bought isn't the correct one?
Yeah - tell me about it.

The one I'm running in my 34 Chevy is a 1990 KTF that was behind the wimpy 307 ( according to the chart ) . I'm still trying to learn . Done a few of the things that Tex mentions .
