Extra Congrats & Thanks! to all those running our parts (n-stuff)
Here are a few known to have our Swaybar and/or suspension parts on:
TSE
Winner = Red Armstrong
2nd = Bob Hinson
TSO
2nd = Otto Pernek
Bracket 1
Winner = Jim Craley
2nd = Bruce Hunter
Probably way more, just remember these off the top of my head.
Had a bunch more in the running, but misc motor issues took them out of the running. Dave's Gold car looked VERY promising before he had mechanical issues. Went 132/133 mph on 2nd pass off trailer with completely new combo, at VERY conservative boost numbers! I was betting on some 145+ numbers out of it myself before the weekend was over
Check back at BPG and Morocco events for more!
PS- Also CONGRATS to:
HRpartsNstuff / Earick Racing Engines V-8 Gamblers Challenge (Fri)
Winner - Jeff Getty #1280 (got $970 + plaque + hat)
RU - Brian Woodworth #5495 (got $435 + plaque + hat)
3rd & 4th place were Chris Lee #421 and Josh Douglas #1105, (got $54 and hat)
Steve Pitts (First winner T-400 in HRparts/Earick Racing Raffle)
Fletcher Holmes (2nd winner $750 HR gift cert in HRparts/Earick Racing Raffle)
Jay McKinnon (Won HR Hat in HRparts/Earick Racing Raffle)
Surej (won Earick Racing Shirt in HRparts/Earick Racing Raffle)
Also, $200 HR gift cert (for best reaction time in elim) went to car # 1855 (forget name, sorry) in eliminations, ran 13.69 with a PERFECT .000 Reaction time! Had a .003 and a couple .007's too, many were hitting it good out there Sat!
Sounds like next years nat's will be even better! Now all I need is a video of it all to see what happened
Never get out like I would like to, but all part of the fun.
Also, HUGE THANKS to all running the show/event! Some (or most??) are volunteers!!!!! If we all knew all the behind the scenes stuff that goes on to make it come off as well as it did, none of us would complain about a thing! These guys/gals work their tail off all week, starting Monday and even earlier!!!!!!! Couldn't have that much fun without you all, thanks again!!
