WOW Bill.......congrats on the new ET.

I tried your cell yesterday but you musta been busy, buzz me on my cell when you have a chance I wanna hear all about it.

I hope I don't draw you first round in Norwalk:D

So Bill is down at Bg thats funny you really are a comedian cause in another post he says he did not go. Maybe he forgot to "buzz" you and tell you ;)

[Kearney won TSM after the red T (sorry I do not know the name) went rich about half track and popped.]

I'm the "red T". The car didn't go rich somthing killed the ignition (a 2 cent pin in the module plug?) and when it came back on BOOM. Took out a head gasket also maybe more I'll have too tear it down.
I had Mr. Kearney on the tree and the 60'. It would have been a good race if not for the problem but thats racing. I had back to back 9.52's before that round. Di-k is one of the best racers to lose to. The best race in TSM was my semi final round with Jason White. I'll let Scott post the details on the other board. I've already spoiled too much of his fun.

Who Won

TSL ? It was supposed to take place Friday night. Anybody know ????

Sorry about the misunderstanding than and sorry for not knowing your name. You didn't have a name on the window!!

I just figured you went rich as it popped and through unburned fuel out the pipes. Many cars did that all week. Sorry about the car but like you said, that is racing.

It appeared Gary Harmon won TSL and ran quite well too. I think he was in the 9.2x at 147 MPH on the last pass. Car sounded real clean and I don't think he was afraid to spin up the motor from the sounds of it.

TSL was ran on Saturday. I also thought it was supposed to run out on Friday but I guess it didn't.

Here are some videos and a couple of pics that I took on Saturday.

Fiscus 4th round qualifying.

Aaron 4th round qualifying. Go RU GO!!!

I'm told there was a new record set in TSS during qualifying. 10.19 @ 135+... Could this be the beginning of a push to be the 1st TSS car in the 9's?? 9-cars made it to peer tech as well.

Thanks for the videos/pics Patrick! Looks like there was some good racing:cool:

Here is the story on the Avon/Bobby Don race. I talked to Bobby Don personally after his race with Avon. Avon left before tree was activated, Bobby Don left shortly after him. Going by the NHRA rules Bobby Don won the race. While some of the race officials were tiring to figure it out, Bobby Don told Avon, "Lets settle it on the track. Lets re-race. Fastest car goes to the next round" Avon agreed and they set it back up. Avon got the hole shot, Bobby don was passing him by the '330 cone when Bobby Don's intercooler pipe came loose from the throttle body. (We all know what happens when that comes loose) Avon won the race and went through to the next round.
Congrats to Avon on the win & Congrats to Bobby Don for being a TRUE GENTLEMEN Racer. LC and I are privileged to be his car builder, tuner & FRIEND.
Chris Conley

Close but not exact. I was not trying to figure out who won or lost but more-so letting the two of them decide how they wanted to handle it as it was mentioned that they might want to run again being that there was a snafu at both ends of the track. I have no problem enforcing the rules and do understand them but am always willing to let the racers settle it on the track should that be the concensus over a situation like that. After all when stuff like that happens it usually ends up a much better race than the first one as they are usually balls to the wall on the second go around. Know what I mean?

Jim, it was a pleasure meeting you and I for one, just wanted to say that you did an excellent job. Things ran very smoothly and all of us were very happy.
Thanks again Jim.

I appreciate that Patrick. It was good meeting you as well. Next year the booze is on me one night.

Just spoke to Avon from Maryland (built and tuned by Billy Anderson) and he won TSO, beating Chris Lyon in the finals. Billy did not go. Chris beat Dan in Joe Lubrant's car in his semi, and Avon ran a fender ahead of Dave Fiscus all the way down the track to beat him in the other semifinal. Way to go, Avon!!!!

IIRC he won it on the tree. .035 to a .045 light

Now those are some nice lights.
