200r4 problem

This the second time I had to get my trans rebuilt for this problem at first it was driving fine then me and my buddy start playing around and after that it was holding the gears and hitting the rev limiter in first and then it will shift fluid smell burnt afterwards too I just put my new PTc 9.5 in by the way that's the best converter that I had been through 5 but any help will be appreciated

sounds like you need to work the combo out with the tranny builder or get another rebuild,i use david husek for the 200,he builds an awesome unit.

Iknow but I'm really starting to think it has something to do with the tv cable cause it burns the clutches and the band up

The ridges are on the caable on the back side of the connector. You can see a few in that picture where the cable just exists the photo.

Perhaps you are aware but I thought I'd point it out anyway; your cable is not properly seated in the bracket in your photo. The upper retaining tab needs to be pushed forward a bit more so it snaps in place. Also, the ridges are on the slider portion that's poking through the bulkhead with the retaining tabs. The ridges face the doghouse.

No I wasn't but thanks I don't see no ridges on the inside idont think they came out yet iknow they there but I think they in some more

Confused why there is a return spring in the pic also ? Shouldn't be there at all just sayin

No it shouldn't but more stiffness to the pedal

If you smelled trans fluid she's most likely toast. That's been my experience.

I was hoping that wasn't the case but ima take it out for a drive and see of there's a difference
