200r4 whine...

Ok had my GN for a while now and the tranny has shifted flawlessly and has been quiet. Well that is until I did a couple burnouts from a dead stop. Now the damn thing has a slight whine to it... The fluid is up where it needs to be hot and is nice and clean. Did I hurt something?

Possibly. Are you sure it's coming from the trans? Usually it's a torrinton (thrust bearing) that makes a whine like that. After awhile, it breaks apart and takes out other stuff, like planets.
You say it works great, maybe get someone to go into it and find the bad bearing and while they are in it just re-seal it.
