Same time next year? Looks like I will have to take 2 weeks off for it.

I'm not sure. @gbsean could probably answer that. I know this years event is a combination of two different shows for the 25yr. Anniversary so I have no idea how next years will shape up.

So I just saw the car show on saturday is NOT at norwalk raceway but rather the Arbys nearby. I'm not a big fan of this as I have been to that arbys and the parking lot isn't that big. No chance of having the car show on sunday at Norwalk raceway in conjunction with the race?!?! Trust me there is PLENTY of room at NRP for the race and the show.

Car Show has always been at Arby's We wanted it at Track but, Norwalk wanted $15 spectator fee on top of BPG's Car show fee....we could not justify charging someone $40 for a Car Show. We also have the grass and the Best Western Parking lot.

Well $40 to enter the car show walk around and look at the swap meet and the vendors and watch racing would be well worth it I would think. Do it all in one day. So does this mean the vendors will only be at NRP on Sunday? And to be able to get to the vendors people will have to pay another $15 to get in on Sunday? Either way people will still have to fork out $40 bucks if this is the case.

Or why not have the car show going on during the buick racing on Sunday?

Vendors will be at Car Show...Sunday s not just Buick's They are running another group.

So I assume the BBQ has also been scraped at the car show?

Hopefully more and better details are posted soon outlining each event with a date time and place. I've heard buschurs is doing a dyno event but haven't seen anything stating official days or times for that either.

You will need to contact Bill Wills the Event Director the BPG was just asked to lend support and handle car show.

Rick are you planning on attending the whole weekend? Would be awesome to meet you in person. Bringing your car?
Yes and Yes.....likewise.:)

In Celebration of 25 years of Buick Race Day the Buick Performance Group was asked to join forces to create one Monster Event in 2015. This event will also celebrate the 50 years of the GS Badge. The 2015 Buick Race Day event will be held May 29th-31st 2015 at Summit Motorsports Park in Norwalk Ohio. At this time there will be Racing on Friday and Sunday with the 50th GS Anniversary Car Show on Saturday at the Track with a BBQ. Summit Motorsports Park is a modern facility and offer onsite RV hookups and camping. The combining of 2 events into 1 will benefit not only the participants but also the vendors and donors as there is one less event to choose from. Bill Wills and the BPG expect that by doing this we will get more entries and vendors which will help offset costs and increase payouts and promote Buick's and Fun. The BPG will be running the Car Show on Saturday and it will be a combined effort for the Race Program. If the event is a success as I am sure it will be the Track will allow the BPG run future events at Norwalk where we can have 3 days of Racing and Car Show. Hotel information will be posted as soon as possible. I feel this is a positive move for both Buick Race Day and the BPG to help keep the Buick Brand and Buick Community Alive and Kicking. This is all in the planning stages and I will keep everyone updated as to the progress such as Hotels Vendors and Pricing. the Date is firm so book your vacations this is going to be Epic.
Do you have a list of turbo Buick vendors?
