255 Fuel Pump install help

Hello, I am installing the Walbro 255 fuel Pump. The wiring harness that came with the pump is no way set up to connect easily to the stock wires. Do I have the wrong harness or does this need to be cut up and slpiced? Just does not seem right.

What kind of hanger is that? Never saw one that looks like it.

You must have one of the rare early 86 hangers. There is a different adapter made for that, or you can try to splice it. If you got it from me, shoot me an email and I'll send you the right adapter, no charge.

I have always preferred soldering the wires in the tank. One less thing to worry about .
