I have a question for you all, do the 275/50/15 BFG Drag Radials fit on the stock 87 GN wheels and without rubing on the frame? I have a set of BFG Radials, 265/50/15 and they just fit, but I need more traction than they can offer. I think the 275/60/15 will be too tall and hurt the performance, is anyone running these with a stock convertor?

275 60 15 is the only size for a stocker to run so ive beeen told as you can tel by all of my past questions.I just bought a set and they fit nice

That's a myth propogated by people that have never tried them. Check my timeslips pages for results with both 275/50 and 275/60's . Stock converter and motor and very minor bolt-ons.

You may need a small spacer to avoid rubbing with any 275 wide tire on a GN wheel. Nitto 275/50's are a little narrower than BFG's and rub the frame a little less. With T-type wheels, I've gone through 4 sets of BFG 275's and have never used a spacer.
