anyone using this size and height (26") on the back? would like to see some pics.
no frame notch and enough back space.
i think most of us are using something in the 28-29" range?

15x8 wheels, 295/50/15 rear, 235/60/15 front. They fill the fenders nicely on the street, they just don't hook worth a damn. A good, sticky 275/50/15 drag radial has much more bite.

I have the 295 50 15 on the rear of my 2 GNs. both with 15x8 4"bs. One has stock height springs with no issues, the other is lowered with moog 5413 springs, and needed 5psi inflated into airlift bags to prevent rubbing the inner fender during a hard tilt, but even with 5psi, the rear is still much lower than stock rear springs. both of my cars currently do not have rolled fender lips.

BTW-I think the 295 50 15 is actually a 27 inch tire, they are about an inch taller than the 235 50 15 which is a 26 inch tire. you could use the 275 50 15 if you want a 26 in rear tire.

I just installed some MT 255/60-15's and they offer lots of bite and look great on stock 15x7's. I wish MT would make some 295/50 drag radials because I like the look of some wide meats out back.
