My cruise control is acting screwy on my 84. I thought I'd first check out the vacuum lines, but I am not quite sure how this should work.
The vacuum block feeds a check valve like this one, https://www.summitracing.com/parts/...MIo4nCvrz6iAMVnIJaBR0FHzXUEAQYByABEgIGCvD_BwE, and then the vacuum line goes from the check valve to the cruise control servo.
Should the check valve be in the cruise circuit?
If I remove the check valve from the vacuum block I can pull a vacuum on the valve to up over 20 , If I put the vacuum on the servo side of the check valve it will hold but only at about 2 or 3. If I pull any harder it just leaks.
Is this what I should expect to see?
Is pulling vacuum on the servo suppose to cause it to move in and pull on the throttle? Mine does not, but not sure if that is what is suppose to happen.
