It was an awesome weekend for us, putting #1 qualifier Tim Wilkerson
on the trailer in the first round! We're actually top ten in points right now,
it's hard to believe.
Had a BIG boomer first round of qualifying, lost oil psi at the hit and blew it
up hard near half track. Split the body open on both sides and almost took
the front of the car off. Broke seven connecting rods and windowed the
block, it even sent a connecting rod bolt through the block like an arrow.
It was the most damage I've ever seen on our car but we thrashed and
got it turned around in time for second round. It was a great weekend for
the whole team, I'm still wired up about it!
Next stop Gainseville...

I hope we can keep this little streak going. Bode has put so much time and effort (not to mention money) into this race car. It was really great to see
him so thrilled about it.
We do need to quit hurting parts though, our budget is very good but it's not
endless. The money it takes to compete in a fuel car is just sick, it never ends.
It came back clean after first round race day, that's what we like to see.
Just service it and run it again. Sometimes I get tired of seeing the destruction. Those engines are so violent.
