1. After driving on the highway for several miles on a hot 90 degree day, if I open the hood to cool it down, I can smell a light trace of gasoline fumes. I have had the engine in and out over the years. All fuel gaskets have been replaced and lines tightened over and over with no change noted. I am beginning to suspect that the rubber fuel lines need to be replaced but I haven't found any when doing searches. Where can I get them?

2. The evaporative emission cannister has never been serviced. I have seen filter elements for sale, but don't see any way to get the canister open. Does the whole canister need to be replaced? If so, who sells them?

Once the hoses are removed, it just twists off of two tabs holding it to the fenderwell under the canister. Kinda like the oil fill neck. Filter goes in from the bottom.

If I can figure it ot, anyone can. :)
