3.0L and TTA VC breather hole the same size?

Well I lost my original breather elbow and had to go buy one from the Help section at my local autoparts store. Since I swapped my VC (now have 3.0L ones on) I took my TTA VC to check the size. The elbow seemed to fit nice and tightly so I bought it. I brought it home and went to put it in the 3.0L ones on the car and it moves around and pops in and out fairly easily. So my guestion is are they the same size hole? I would measure but the 3.0L one being in the back on the drivers side makes it difficult to measure that one. So if no one knows but has a set of 3.0L VCs can you please measure it for me and I can measure my TTA ones.

On the ones I have they are the same size, there is some manufacturing tolerances of course so maybe that is why it's a bit sloppy on one of your VC's, I'm not having that problem on my 3.0 VC

It's not just sloppy, it just plain won't stay in there. On my TTA VC it's tough to put in and on the 3.0L it fits inside the hole with extra room to play.
