Does anyone one know of any other maker , if any ,who makes the 3.5 in single system?.Terry Houston no longer makes it. Something about folks saying it was too loud! Thats funny!!!!

I know that the 3in is readily available from several sources , but I WANT a 3.5in system.Just wanna buy once as a S2 is in my near future.

Perhaps if anyone knows where there might be one in stock leftover?
Thanks

Just looked through the site. Looks like only a 3in system like everyone else.

Thanks for the link tho!:D

I see in their ad in Car Craft they advertise a 3.5" system although I'm not sure of the application. I would assume they would have the proper equipment to do 3.5" may be worth a call

Had a 3.5" single once... Only once, and for a very short time. It was OMG LOUD. I can run with a completely open THDP right under the floor and not be as agrivated as I was with that 3.5" single!!

Must have something to do with it's unique sounds and drones that made it so obnoxious!

Louie try jack cotton he had one in stock last fall. I bought the last one terry had and have only had it idleing and it is loud!!

Guy's are you talking 3.5" straight through or with some sort of muffler?

I could only imagine that system with no muffler at all.

I asked Jack about a dual 3.5" and the big wuss just shook his head.
What's wrong with that?
I thought it was a great idea!:D

Its a 3.5 in single exhaust with a muffler, just like the 3 inch version. I believe that the TH unit came with a Nice straight thu Magnaflow muffler. At least that what it looks like to me when compared to other mufflers.

Heck,I've already got his dual 3" and I love it[yup,it'll scare the heck out of the ricers].
If you can bend a 3.5" single to fit like a 3" single, why can't you bend a dual 3.5" to fit like a dual 3"?
What's this world coming to.
Some people just don't care about the needs of the fringe elements,do they?;)

Turbo Dave,
Was it a TH 3.5?

No this was before TH's days. It was a custom made unit with a straight thru muffler.

Looks like i ll have to go with a 3incher. Cottons doesnt have one either.:( Unless i have some custom jobbie made.....and it wont be as nice.....

Thanks for all the help guys...

I have a single 3" downpipe that continues into a single 3.5" mandrel bent exhaust with Dynomax Ultraflo Welded 3.5" straight thru muffler. At idle it definately sounds healthy and at WOT you can tell I have some heat under the hood. But IMO I have this car to go fast and a single exhaust setup saves weight and whatever the tradeoff (noise... doesn't look as good)... I'm willing to take it.

I like the sound from my exhaust... but it definately wouldn't be described as quiet. Maybe if I put 2 more inline mufflers that would help to make it a little more stealthy.

Here is the muffler I use and it is one of the highest flowing available:

When I bought my TH 3.5" single shot about 2 years ago it came with a stainless Borla straight-thru muffler.
