3.8 buick for 3.8 chevy...

I have a 1980 turbo 3.8 out of a monte carlo and want to know what buick parts can be put on it. I'm mainly interisted in GN heads, and a aftermarket cam. the motor is carbed and not fuel injected

Good News! Everything from a Buick will interchange with your Monte engine. That's becuase it is a Buick!

The Chevy 3.8 is a 229, but the Turbo 3.8 is a 231 Buick. Chevy used the Buick Turbo V6 in 1980 and 1981. The 229 is a small block variant with the distributor in the back. Your 231 motor has the distributor in the front.
