3.8 to 430 swap

Was about to start swap 3.8 is still in buick was wondering about mounting I heard there's a kit you can get that swaps 3.8 to big block. Wondering if anyone can help out. Thanks a lot.. it's a 82 regal with a 69 buick big block 430

That should be an easy swap. Check out taperformance.com
You'll need new engine mount frame pads for the conversion that they should have in stock.

you're not going to get a "kit" to do it... but it should be an easy swap since there have been more than a few Buick V8 engines put in G bodies over the years..

I also have an 82 regal and a 430 to go in it. I have heard that the passenger valve cover may hit the air box so you may need to make a few changes in that area. T/A does have almost everything you will need for the swap. What transmission are you going to use?
