I need this gone because i'm not going to be doing anything with it, and its' taking up space. I have all the papers to it, and they will be included.

It was rebuilt in 2000 by Blue Chip machine shop in OKC. It was ran for a few thousand miles, and it sat for a few years till I got it. It was rebuilt with:
-.030" TRW forged pistons
-edelbrock cam/lifters/valve springs
-edelbrock timing set
-5/16 chrome moly pushrods

Since I've had it, I took the heads off and rebuilt/bowlported ("Stage 1 as some people call it) them, and bought new ARP headbolts that will be included. All it needs to be complete is a pair of headgaskets.

Block casting is 25506818, and heads are 6392.

It has:
-complete shortblock w/ timing cover, water pump, oil pump, damper pulley, timing mark, and motor mounts
-starter
-flexplate
-fuel injected intake w/ fuel rail and injectors and injector wiring subharness (needs to be cleaned)
-heads, freshly rebuilt/bowlported with new rocker shafts
-aluminum GN finned valve covers
-new ARP head bolts

I'd like to get 400$ for it. This is a steal, considering what the rebuilt heads and the aftermarket internal parts that the engine was rebuilt withare worth. Will ship, but buyer pays freight costs.

Interested. Could you send pics of the engine and heads (mainly ports) to sachsdca@msn.com Im assuming the intake is 86/87 style?? LMK, ASAP. Im also in OKC.
Thanks,
Derek:smile:

quicker6, I e-mailed you hi-res pictures but for everyone else who is interested, here are some pics.

Here is a pic BEFORE I took the heads off and rebuilt/bowlported them and BEFORE I bought the ARP head bolts and fuel injected intake/injectors. The alternator and bracket comes with it too, but I don't have the dizzy anymore.

I didn't shine a light down through the other end of the port, and the flash on the camera exposes the machine marks, but the bowls are Smooth to the touch. The main areas I focused on was the short side radius, the throat lip, and the guide bosses. If you've seen a stock buick bowl, you will know how much of an improvement this is!

Stupid Question........

So is this turbo regal engine? Sorry I've just never heard of a block ending in the cast numbers that you listed....
Thanks
Steve Chambers

Excellent deal here but, Im gonna have to pass it up. My engine being machined right now is racking up a rather hefty bill. Ive just had to order a forged crank because they decided the stock crank was no good after being there for a whole month and a half.

I'm in Tulsa, OK.

I don't know what year the intake is.

The block is a 3.8, here are pictures of the casting number Before I cleaned the motor up and re-painted it.
