3'' RJC Downpipe and stock turbo?

I am looking on putting on a 3'' rjc downpipe, testpipe and 3'' rjc crossflow exhaust. Am I going to see any significant gains with the downpipe on a stock turbo or is it a waste of money?

I have yet to install mine, but I expect to see an improvement in spool up & throttle response. The stock exhaust system is fairly restrictive. I figure a free flowing exhaust is one of those strong foundation type of modifications that you later build upon.

You will definitely feel a difference.

I just switched to a 3" downpipe from the stock DP and exhaust system. This made a HUGE difference. I bolted up a posi at the same time and can smoke the tires at will. From my research the bigger DP over stock will get you a lot more gain than a free flowing exhaust. I still have both, but that's because my stock exhaust was rotten.
