who else is not ready?

im still waiting on my wheels to get back, and gotta finish a few things under the car and then do a full detail on it.

gonna be a busy 3 weekends!

Your in allot better shape than me...I don't even have my motor back from the machine shop yet. I should have it back early next week...then it's time to get busy:eek:

I'm ready... but I don't have a Buick to worry about this year. :o

No car this year. Just packing the wife and daughter, charging the camera batteries and making my annual parts list:D !

I'm getting married on the 21st and the wife to be didn't like the idea of a Bowling Green wedding. So maybe an aniversary trip next year. I do get to go on power tour this year, so it's not all bad.

Chris,
Im on the same boat. No motor from machine shop yet. Should be back tommorow tho. Cal and I hope to get on it Friday and get it mostly done.:)

THe only thing i have left is tubular control arm install and alignment.
I Dont have time to get to the Dyno before then,
So i will tune the combo there.Leaving Sun morn

Oh man........I need wheels, slicks, just finished the dual fans tonight (and getting the PS IC pipes to clear), gotta do the rear sway bar, among countless other small things.......Im gonna be tired come BG :)

It's going to be a last minute toss-up if I'll bring my car or not. It's not in the shape I'd like it to be in, but it's driveable. Only problem is, I leave for Germany of Friday and get back a few days before BG so I don't think I'm going to have much time except for washing and waxing it.

We still have to paint my door and 1/4's from the tire shake incident last year at BG, the TSO car still needs header fabrication, build new downpipe, install the engine, put the fuel cell in it, reinstall the dash and instruments, rewire the engine harness for the distributor, fabricate and install the parachute mount. We have to finish up an engine job on a TSE car that is going to BG,we will complete a head gasket/converter swap on a customers car that is going to BG too,THEN we have to finish up a Turbo LS1 Firehawk this week and complete a FAST fuel injection/5 speed conversion on a 67 big block Plymouth Satelite and a Stage 2 GN that was flooded in Hurricane Isabel 2 years ago both to be done for the Ocean City MD cruise the same weekend. I REALLY hate cars.

your a busy man bill!

need to get robs car out of there, its been there too long...;)

im gonna try and roll over there monday and get my box of stuff.

Louie,
Im going to try to make it. I just don't know if im going to have enough time. I know I could make it happen, but I probably wouldn't have a wife after I was done spending every night in the garage for the next 3 weeks:)

Bill,
If you get all that done before BG...you are the man. That's allot of work...good luck.

Hope to see yall there. If I don't bring the car. I might just fly up there Thursday or Friday and stay until Sunday.

Later Boys

priorities

15 years ago when my wife wanted a first-weekend-in-May wedding I advised her to move it back a week. Might as well lay down the law early. I'd made them all up till that point and wasn't going to miss one for a wedding. Even managed to work a kid around the nats. And yes we're still married in spite of missing several anniversaries, Mother's Days, birthdays, and one Father's day. If you see a Buick with a coffin dragged behind it, that'll be me. I'll be goin' to the nats even after I'm dead.

This will definately be the only Nats that I will miss. I'm taking her to Hawaii in October. So I should have some leverage there. I WILL BE THERE NEXT YEAR. HAVE FUN!

That's a lot of work Bill. Heck some of the other speed shops would take 3 years to do all of that, if they ever got done.

After hard work you will have $$. Hopefully. This is how I cope.

Good luck, how many hours in your day?

All ready and can't wait. Hopefully the weather will cooperate! :D

Me... I'm not ready!

Well, we'll see what I can do about that this weekend. :)

I got the frame notch finished up last weekend, the new wheels and tires arrived today, tomorrow (Sat) I'll be putting the fuel system and remote battery back in, along with re-certified harness and a ton of other little things.

I'll be there one way or another. BG here I come!!!
