hmmmm ...does that look like a double roller timing chain ???? also does the oil pan have a bolt for the oil drain ???

Dan, Duhhh.. All the "REAL" Pace Cars had double rollers.

It would be a GEM if it was installed in the wrecked car still and the odometer read 3000 miles. Awful lot of crud..

Wait 3,000 miles = 12,000 1/4 mile passes. :biggrin:

Looks like a used core.. anyone buying stuff like this not treating it as a core..

Shame they started taking it apart and picking through it. The double roller should the deal.

well after getting burnd on a LOT of motors I figure them ALL as cores ... I just picked out the obvious stuff screaming out at me

it has what looks to be an original paint mark on the front of the crank, however mine didn't have that big ass hole with mallory metal in it. That musta been an option .

I bet that's the engine from that burnt out one in MI that was on eBay for 5k a few moths back
