I have a th350 tranny that shifts quickly and firmly. The only thing that bugs me is that I can feel the first shift (1-2). It kinda jerks the car sometimes. Is there anyway I can get rid of that? I wanna hear the shift, not feel it.- Rick

About the only way to retain a quick/firm shift while reducing driveline shock is to install a slightly looser converter. Otherwise, you'll need to change some parameters on the transmission such as pressure, accumulation, etc. which will compromise the quickness/firmess of the shift.

If you have an adjustable vacuum modulator, try turning the adjustment screw in the nipple counter-clockwise a round or two. That may help.
