3rd and 4th trans switches

I have a question. Does the 3rd switch stay on when the 4th switch activates ? Or does the 3rd switch go off when 4th switch activates ?

With a stock chip...No. If you have an aftermarket chip then it's a non-issue since most don't lock the converter in 3rd.

Interesting, ordered chip from TT and specially requested locking also on 3rd, according to Eric it should momentarly unlock during shift. Mine does not unlock and shift is hard when engine load is low.

You will have to talk to Eric so he can change the chip programming to satisfy your issue.

Before that i need to check if the TC solenoid has some issues, maybe its not releasing TC fast enough.
