What is it:
Complete 4.1 engine (except for cam & lifters),
Square decked 291 block, head/main studs, iron heads (6293s w/stock valves) ported at Performance Machine in Pomona CA, 2 sets valvesprings/pushrods (for hyd flat & roller cams), ported/matched intake (EGR milled/welded, ceramic temp coated), double-roller chain, hyper .030 pistons, TotalSeal rings, stock rods, stock turbo crank (.010/.010), chrome oil pan w/baffle, new front cover w/long oil pump gears (& ported).

What it needs (or, what happened...),
The engine has been on a stand in the garage for 5 years (daughter is 5yrs old--coincidence?) -- I had the engine assembled in 2000, drove it for 1k-2k miles, and then heard about the cast roller cam fiasco. I pulled the cast roller cam, and it hadn't yet started to wear down. However, the front cam bearing is badly grooved, and the cam wore into the face of the block. TA Perf has a bronze bushing that can be used to fix the front, and it will certainly need a set of cam bearings. Mains/rods may need changing/more clearance.

What it costs:
I'm thinking $1500 plus shipping -- let me know if that's out of line (high or low!).

Thanks,
TIM

Also, I'm selling an additional new/unused "484" 4.1 block.
