4.1L---204/214 cam or ????

Hey guys---I`m getting all my ducks in a row,now need to select a cam.Got a 4.1L .035 over,JE pistons,home ported hds,BGC headers w/3" dn pipe, 36# injectors /92 thrasher chip, ta 49, now I now a lot of you guys like the 204/214 cam.Edelbrock has the same 204/214 cam in their perf plus series,is this the same as speed pro 204/214 ?Do any of you have any input on what cam would work for me. I plan on using car mostly street,with sat nite drags,also want to add intercooler later. Are any of the other brands (crane,comp cam,crower,) a better choise ? I have no experiance in turbo buicks,this is my first,so pardon my stupid Questions please.>>>>>>>JACK

Eastern cam ???? Where to get one ??

Never heard of an Eastern cam. Have you used it on the 4.1L yet ? Is it too big to use a stock converter ? Would you know if the speed pro 204/214 is the same as a edelbrock 204/214 perf plus cam ? Where do you get the Eastern cam ?? ---thanks,,,Jack

I just gave my old Eastern 204-214 cam away. Hated it. I went with the Comp 212-212 from the advise of Duttweiler for the 4.1. I've seen it used in 3.8s and some good times and I figure it's a pretty mild cam for the 4.1.
