WOW! You came full circle from not knowing what to ask to now asking $1600??? Sorry, I would buy a good used set for $500-600 before paying that. Just my opinion.

Let the guy ask whatever he wants. Personally I hope he gets more than 2k. At least he offered them to the board way below what a person who knows like Bison said they are worth.

Funny how people always ask for an opinion and for someone to be honest but then if it's different than theirs, they don't want it anymore.....:biggrin: right back at ya!:rolleyes:
 
Try and find any set of NOS wheels from the General Motors 80's! $1600 is reasonable, last set on eBay in boxes sold for $1200 and they were later vintage. Slap them puppies on eBay, make sure you highlight the date cause that is what is going to drive the big number... I sold an NOS set of GTA rims on ebay several months ago for $2550... it can be done...
 
I keep seeing the 'put them on ebay' reply to get the most money. But it occurred to me that wouldn't most of the people who would bid on them already be on this board?
 
Far from it... when I listed the NOS GTA wheels I had over two thousand views. Natch many of those were repeats but the bottom line is eBay reaches all around the world. Buicks are popular everywhere but some folks don't have much use for forums...:eek:

Big answer "NO"! I have sold many parts on ebay as I stated before and probably only a couple of people of all the parts were from turbobuick. Some people I guess aren't aware of the discussion boards. Talk to anyone on the street on how to find something and most will say "ebay".
 
When Are They Going On Ebay After Reading These Post I Have Got To See What These Wheels Go For.:)
