I read some people claim that Dexron VI synthetic is "too slippery" and it can cause clutch slippage. Is that claim true?
The 2004R transmission was NOT designed for Type F fluid from the factory. While this shouldn't cause issues with the clutches since Type F is high in friction modifiers. I wonder if it can cause problems in the 2004R valve body? Causing valves to stick and not flow smoothly as the clearances are tight and not designed by GM for a Type F trans fluid.
