Is it stamped or are the numbers cast into the bellhousing?
Pretty sure they are just casting numbers. 2004r cases are pretty much all the same. When you get to valve bodies, pumps and other internals then the later the build the more the updates to better stuff from what I've read and seen in my limited experience.
