425 nailhead block wanted

I got a call from my machinist and he needs a 425 nailhead block for a customer. I've been a Buick guy for ages but never played with nailhead motors. If anyone has any leads please let me know.

I'm here now Neal, he said he has a bunch of parts for them but didn't keep nailhead blocks. There is some 4.1 production blocks out back and a pallet of 6293 V6 heads though. I tried Neal! Good luck on the hunt, that's a hard block to find.

Not a 425, but I've got a 455 short block and heads that need a home Neal. Might be a bit far away but it's something to think about.

I don't think it's worth the cost to ship to CA. I have to think someone in the Southwest has one for sale somewhere.

I think that their forum is gone but that they are still around.

Eric posted a wanted ad for me on the V8 Buick forum but it hasn't really proved to be that helpful. I haven't contacted the SoCal Gransports but I do know a few of those guys from back when I used to play with big block Buicks. It's looking like 425 parts are as elusive as Stage II V6 parts.

I didn't know that Mike was into Buicks of that vintage to be honest. I can try to contact him and see if he knows of a block for sale.

He's going to have knee surgery in the first week of December. I don't know how accessible he will be so you might want to try him this Friday or Monday .

His '55 is just..............plain............. cool.
