4l80 question

how is everyone attaching the stock shift cable to the 80e. Anyone have a pic? Thanks

I was able to use the bracket from a B&M shifter on mine but I am using a cable from the column shifter. Took some rigging but wanted the sleeper look.

Got it. I slotted the factory bracket to position the end of the cable where I wanted it. I had to space the lever on the trans out a little to line up properly.

The stock column does not use a cable.
Are you referring to using a floor shift cable, and attaching it to the column?

Stock floor shifter and stock cable attached to the 4l80 with the stock 2004r bracket that mounts the cable to the trans and stock 2004r shift lever. nothing to do with the column yet, I'm not sure if I want to wire the back up lights through the car switch or through the switch on the 4l80. appears easier to use the switch on the trans. lol sorry chuck I assume you were talking to 69 Camaro.
