I have disassembled the pump of my '87 CZ trans in preparation for upgrades: .5" PR valve, treated stator support, etc.
Questions:
1. Will the stock CZ, PR spring be compatible with the larger (.5") valve?
2. My preference for shifts is Heavy Duty, not Pro-Street. Should I install a shift modification kit, or stay with the factory mild performance calibration.
