I have up for sale my LQ4 engine. It is an Iron Block 6.0 Litre 325 HP truck engine. If you are looking to do a conversion or have another idea for a latemodel engine into a car and want a complete engine, this is it.

2005 LQ4 engine from a 3/4 ton truck
78,000 miles
Accessories included:
Alternator
P/S pump and lines
Wiring Harness (inc Pos batt cable)
Computer
Has electronic Throttle Body
Electronic Gas pedal assembly and harness
Starter
Has the bracket for the A/C compressor
Belt and tensioner
Exhaust Manifolds
Coil packs and wires
Intake, fuel rails, etc...
Even has the fan and fan clutch

Basically drop in, connect up some wires (positive, negative, fuel pump, and switched ignition) and away you go.

I bought this about 6 months ago. I was going to do a LS1 swap, but decided to keep the V6. I just want out of it what I paid for it.
$1500

Pat,
What are you doing listing a LQ4 truck engine on turbo buick for???,
Regardless if you have a 87 GN!!!

John

Technically even I'm bending the rules right now with this post but cut the guy a break. We see postings for guys looking to trade mustangs and other cars and stuff for TRs and/or parts all the time.... Maybe he's fishing to see if someone will offer to trade some speed parts for it, right Pat? (wink wink) See, now there's definately stronger turbobuick content.

Either way, for someone who's been an active member on the board over 6 years and seems to be a stand up guy, give him a break. I seriously think there needs to be a refresher course in the old motto of going fast with class for some of the newer members on board who werent here in the days Licht owned the board and before any of the crashes went down... yea, I been here that long too just a lurker who forgets logins and creates a different named account every few years.

Best of luck with the sale to ya Pat! :)

hopefully it stops here,i do not understand why someone would post something like that, unless they are never happy unless there is trouble all the time

Why do we have a V8 conversion forum on the TB.com board?

I would agree that if you have to complain in someone elses thread you are never happy.

Now go find your own thread, John.

And, thanks 84C10 for the comments.

Pat

Yeah, I would say its justified because we have a V8 conversion thread and there are plenty of people that use these engines to do turbo or twin turbo
V8 conversions.

Leave the guy alone.

I have seen mustang garbage on these forums before! So I wouldnt complain about this!

Glad your going to stay with the Buick engine...!

That truck engine would look nice in my 67 Chevelle wagon! :)

Maby we can work somthing out.
